Cressbrook & Litton Bugs and Burgers Evening

Dear All
The Society has once again been invited to attend Cressbrook and Litton's  Bugs and Burgers evening on Friday 12th of July. This year we have the return of our friend Stuart Crofts to lead the evening, with Chef David Percival cooking the burgers.
This year there will be a small charge, payable in advance to the club, which will be donated to Stuart Crofts Sheffield hospital charity.
All details are included on the attached club flier and please inform David Marriott of your intention to come.
If the link doesn't open then highlight it first......
Hope to see you there

WATER QUALITY MONITORING NETWORK REPORT

Under the guidance of Tim Ireland our club was one of the first to sign up to the new WQMN testing regime set up by The Angling Trust. Their first ever annual report has now been published. Whilst our stretch of the Derwent is extremely healthy that is not the case in much of the country and the report is well worth reading......

Jack Perks Film Show at Chatsworth Golf Club Thursday 11th Jan 2024

Jack Perks has been in touch to say he is having a screening of Britain's Hidden Fishes at Chatsworth Golf Club which may be of interest to members. Some of the film was shot in Derbyshire and the surrounding East Midlands. Narrated by Jeremy Wade and filmed by Jack Perks it's a 1 hour documentary on UK fish.
The grayling film Jack filmed at Cromford recently should be out in a couple weeks.

Cromford Meadows Barrier and Rugby Club Gate Padlocks

The code for the padlock on the gate on the rugby club road is now 19140.

The code for the high barrier onto Cromford Meadows is now 19180 - unlikely any member will need it except to let a motorhome out that's been locked in!

You need to push on the padlock to release the mechanism.

Please make sure you lock it properly and don't leave it with the code in place!
